Here is my favorite, fast easy meal that uses mostly pantry items:
Chicken Taco Rice;
2 Chicken breast boiled and chopped (could use canned chicken)
1 can chicken broth
1 8 oz can tomato sauce (could use tomato powder)
1 pkg taco seasoning
Boil, cover and simmer all ingredients for 5 minutes, add 1 can of whole kernel corn, do not drain. Bring to a boil. Add 1 1/2 cups minute rice. Cover, remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
Can serve rolled in flour tortilla or over corn chips, with cheese, salsa and lettuce.
I usually double the recipe so we have left overs. My kids love it and it is the fastest dinner ever.
I’m offering Wonder Ovens for $40 plus shipping. This is the lowest price I’ve seen lately… I think it will give more people a chance to get one and learn how to use it. Can you pass my email along and let others know?
Thanks, Jennifer Frandsen

That’s wonderful, Jennifer! Yes, that’s the lowest price I’ve heard of. Two questions: I recommend Wonder Ovens made using the smaller 3mm sized beads, is that what you use? Also, how do you work payments? If you had an Etsy shop or some other online storefront where readers could see what they’re getting first I’d be glad to do it! Thank you for offering to do this!

My pantry pizza isn’t as ‘fancy’ as yours…..we don’t have the money to buy the dehydrated cheese. But this was very acceptable and better than the ‘boxed’ pizza.
PANTRY PIZZA
Sauce:
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. italian seasonings
Mix and let sit while making dough
______________________________
In a gallon zip-loc bag:
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. dry yeast
1 T. oil or olive oit
2/3 c. warmish (NOT hot) water
Seal bag and squish for 8 to 10 minutes, until dough is smooth and moderate (not stiff). If needed, add extra water 1 T. at a time……or if needed, add extra flour 1 T. flour at a time……you must judge this as you ‘knead’ the dough in bag.
_______________________________
about 3/4 cup of dry parmesan cheese (we buy the big containers at Sam’s Club)
When dough is done/smooth/moderate, keep it in the zip-loc bag/sealed and let it sit to rise/rest about 20 to 30 minutes. Grease a pizza pan: thicker crust use 12 inch pan / thinner crust use 16 inch pan. With oiled hands, punch down dough, form into a ball, flatten into large disk with hands, place on greased pan and press out evenly to edges
with fingers. Spoon sauce on, then using back of spoon use circle motions to spread evenly. Sprinkle on dry parmesan. Bake in PREHEATED 450 degrees oven on lowest rack for 8 to 12 minutes. Watch so it doesn’t burn; check bottom by lifting with spatula. When crust is golden brown/done, remove pizza from oven, let sit 5 minutes before cutting.
Wonderful, Janet!! Thank you so much for sharing that. I don’t know why I never thought to try straight Parmesan cheese! (PS– I might copy this comment to add to the pizza post as well).
Glad you liked it Megan!
I can’t get over what you have done with these recipes you have on here……so many that I never even thought of translating to food storage items!! Thanks so much……

Do you have the recipe for the Hot Ham Rolls? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks!
Funny you asked! I’ll be posting that recipe this week! I had to wait for a while to get permission from the publisher to share it.
Wow Megan I am so glad I ran across your videos on You Tube tonight. Your information is amazing! I can’t wait for you to post those ham rolls they sounds sooo good! Thanks so much for all that you do!
